Welcome to php[cruise]!

Pride at PortIt’s been a long time coming … Back in 2004 we ran a conference-cruise, and ever since we’ve heard people asking for us to repeat the event.  We figured that 12 years was long enough of a wait.  Therefore we’d like to announce php[cruise] happening in 2016!  This 7 day long conference-cruise will be a unique event for the PHP community. Completely immersive and giving you, the attendee, a hands-on experience not to be matched!

You can learn more about the conference, the cruise, how the pricing is structured, and what talks we will be having by exploring our website.  And please if you have any questions don’t hesitate to contact us.

A special message from Fatbeard the Pirate

Looks like our very own pirate for our cruise has helpfully recorded a video for us telling everyone why they should be attending php[cruise]!

Room Block Extended!

That’s right!  We were able to get the room block on the cruise extended until March 28th!  So if you were dragging your feet about joining us, you’ve got a few additional weeks to still get the best rates on the cruise itself!

Early Bird Ending & Hotel Booked

A few quick announcements as the end of the year begins to approach us…

  1. Our Early Bird Sale ends on Dec 31st.  The prices will increase at that point so now is the best time to book your cruise with any end of year budget you have left!
  2. We’ve booked a discounted block of rooms at a hotel for the night before the cruise.  Many people have told us they are flying in a day early to ensure they don’t miss the cruise.  We will also be planning some evening event so that people can get checked in for the conference in advance, and not need to worry about it once they board the ship.
  3. Don’t forget that you also need to book your cruise ticket as soon as possible and it needs to be through our travel agent as well.  The earlier you book (putting down as little as $50 in advance), the more bargaining power we gain on the ship to make an amazing event for you!

Looking forward to July!
